The position specific coaching offers focused training and guidance on each player’s position, where they can grow, and how they can master their respective positions. This training is presented under the leadership of Swys de Bruin, former Lions Super Rugby head coach and Springbok assistant coach.
Developed by Jacques du Randt, one of South Africa’s leading strength and conditioning coaches, our strength and conditioning protocol will determine each player’s physical strength and weaknesses. Jacques du Randt is Head of Strength and Conditioning at Wits University.
As part of this test, players will be able to compare their results with other players with the same positions at the camp and with the 600+ players that were tested at previous events. Each player will leave the camp knowing exactly what they need to work on.
The cost for the camp is R3800 per player. Players stay with us on the venue for the three days. Each player enters as an individual. Special rates for schools who enter a team or part of a team(10+) players.
Included in the cost are two nights’ accommodation and meals at the world-class facility of Camp Discovery, which is 60 km outside of Pretoria.
There is a shuttle service available from OR Tambo International Airport for players from other regions
